Five Years Ago - What I Was Doing in 2011
Five Years Ago.
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately, one of them was what was it like five years ago? I just graduated again (but now from college instead of high school), have things changed that much, or even if not - how much do I remember?
And sorry for all the low quality photos, they were taken five years ago...
So here we go!
Five years ago, I was in high school, still a teenager, and young and super energetic.

I was celebrating, I am sure, that I was going to graduate that year.
I had just got accepted into BYU-Idaho, and rejected from BYU-Hawaii.

I was in ceramics class, and made 2 pots that I am still super proud of.

I took my senior photos with Jen Chesnut Photography with some of my best friends from high school.
I got asked to prom, by one of my very good friends.

I was applying for scholarships all day and all night - got accepted to one. (Hallelujah)
I actually knew how to curl my hair - and I curled it every. single. day. (I totally have no idea how to anymore)
I had the coolest shoes, and I have no idea where they went…

I was finishing up the Stargate SG-1 series (best show ever!)
I got my wisdom teeth out, and watched Despicable Me probably 20 times
I watched my first (and only) Korean Drama - Flower Boy Ramen Shop
I listened to Hey Soul Sister by Train on repeat, probably daily.
I taught all my sisters the rap to Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice, and we would rap it, all the time. (see video made when I came back from my first year of school)

I am pretty sure I was the most awesome person I had met that year. I admire that girls spunk, fearlessness, and beauty.

Yep. Thats me.
Ha ha! Love it! By the way, last week I found a "Time Capsule" we did in homeschool years ago (2002), and a binder you'd done when you were 16. Love the pictures you shared! And who knew at the time that chop sticks would become a regular part of your life. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I need to see that! I remember making those a few times :)
